Duke was an unwanted dog roaming the streets in the Tampa Bay area. By fate, Curtis found Duke; some would say they found each other. Curtis then brought Duke to the local shelter in hopes that his owners would find him... they never came. After Duke stayed for the minimum amount of time, Curtis officially gave Duke his forever home.

But not all stories have a happy ending. Curtis, battling health issues, found himself in need of a Service Dog. Currently going through training, the dog Curtis once rescued is now rescuing him.
